VesperNet History,
section VesperNet, MacDomain & Macintosh Garden

How they are tied together

I lightly touched on this topic in the Preface section, though perhaps it would be nice to further expand on it (ever so slightly), so taking with us what we know so far ...

The Future
It might be possible that in a near or far future, more VesperNet-only features may be tied into the MacDomain backend, however they would be dormant on the public internet albeit manageable via the user dashboard, so that any changes are instant on the Vesper side of things. I have a lot of vague ideas of things I want to create and do, though I imagine time will tell - and the appropriate services announce somewhere, when something new appears and becomes available.

Host / Domain Changes (MacDomain » VesperNet)
E-Mail: mcp.mac.gdn » one.mail.com
Usenet: mcp.mac.gdn » macdomain.net
AIM/ICQ: aim.mac.gdn » old original subdomains and domains
IRC: irc.mac.gdn » irc.vespernet.net

The further far future
It might be possible that MacDomain might move away from the public / mainstream internet, and hidden with the rest of the services along with Vesper with a different name attached to it, though, this is merely a thought at this point, barely an idea.
