Developers

Something for the people that enjoy tinkering, I have opened a few more doors for the developers out there. There are privileges and elevated account statuses available for those that want to use the collected data at Macintosh Garden.

This is something that has been in the works for quite some time now, and is another way of gaining access to the accumulated data without having to resort to some sort of web scraper. And believe me you, a lot of them are badly put together and is one of the main culprits when it comes to the shared resources being exhausted that exist for everyone.

API
That's right, users can request an API key for their projects and pull a variety of different data from Macintosh Garden for use in their applications.

Data Dumps
If you are thinking of starting a project, or already have one where the API simply won't suffice, this is something that can become available with an elevated account. Data dumps are periodically generated and made available which contains everything the API can provide, but made available and ready for offline use.

Users that wish to have access to the data dumps directly will need to be able to present a valid and legitimate project.
