FTP

I did mention back in Web Hosting that I had no plans on implementing FTP support "at this time", though that doesn't mean that I haven't looked at it. I've made some updates to the base server implementation that I started way back for this, and I would probably say that it's roughly 70-80 90% done? I have not taken error handling into consideration. since I just need it to work first of all.

But it does "work"., it just needs a bit more touching up before it's actually useful enough.
It is exactly as one would expect from an FTP server, even though it turned out to be a little more complex than perhaps necessary, but it does fulfill most of what is required.

The FTPd is considered extremely experimental and ALPHA quality at this stage.
This means that it is generally a very good idea to keep a backup of whatever you have hosted on MacDomain if you decide to test the FTP feature. And a final note, it does play ball with FTP clients that decided caching was a brilliant idea, it just doesn't play very well - so turn caching in your client OFF
