Gopher

Just to let you know early, this section has nothing to do with the Go language, if that's what you were expecting, I'm sorry but it isn't.

This was fairly easy to get rolling, that is, my very own Gopher server following following RFC 1436. Not only that, but there is partial Gopher+ support implemented and more coming.

The reason for reinventing the wheel here is that I needed a way that wasn't too roundabout in giving the current (and future) users who have access to web hosting the ability to tinker with their own gopherspace.

Gopper 1.0.0 has therefore been deployed with features such as automatically building a user directory when visiting the Gopher service, automatic delivery of gophermaps and more QoL features that makes managing a gopherspace easy breezy.

Of course, the Gopher server is accessible both for users behind the Vesper DNS as well as for those out in the wild; the public internet.

Features
So, what does this hot little potato contain?

What about Gemini
How about ... no? At least, not at this point in time. It's not in the least interesting enough to warrant setting up a Gemini server/service.
